GET TO KNOW ME

Hi! I am Carrie, My story is a little more unusual than most. You may notice that I wear oxygen and please ignore that! I am still a fully capable woman! I am a mother of 4 and was a working Resgistered Nurse, until I wasn't feeling well. In a super long story short, I have a rare lung condition and will eventually need a double lung transplant. Being sick brought me here!!

It set me on a new path. I was very depressed after being sick and I started to paint. I did acrylic poured art and poured my feelings into that. Art saved me. It truly did. I had never done any kind of art work. It eventually lead me into a small home businsess of selling beginner's resin kits, then to school (online) for business and now I am completing Graphic Design diploma.

I am continuing my education in a bachelors of creative art and my end goal is a masters in art therapy. I want to share with people how art whether on canvas or music or writing can help one heal oneself. While I am on my 5 year journey to becoming an Art Therapist, I want to utilize the skills that I have more recently learned. I would love to help you with your projects. Whether a new label or packaging design or advertising or publication design, I am here to help!!
